In loving memory of Jan

This site is a tribute to Jan Shaughnessy. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don’t you ever cry.
The love that’s deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You’ll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.

Here are 3 things I miss about mum: Her laughter. She had an amazing smile and laugh it really could lift you ip and brighten your whole day. Her way of putting everyone's feelings before her own. She done this so much sometimes without us even knowing. Her unconditional love. She simply loved everyone unconditionally. But mum most of all I miss you every minute of every day and I was so so lucky you are my mum xxxxxxx

The 3 things I most treasure in my memories of Jan: Her positive outlook Jan found the positive in everything, influencing my own outlook. Her authenticity With Jan what you saw was what you got I felt, no undercurrents. Her open-mindedness Jan accepted a wide range of people for who they were, how ever they were. I feel privileged to have had Jan's friendship in recent years. Frances (met through book group)
